The nearby ocean provides a soothing lullaby and a natural breeze that will drift you into sleep, relaxing your body and mind.

A gorgeous pathway lined with exotic plants and flowers leads guests from the cottages to the restaurant and office. It is a short walk from each cottage. The terrain is challenging. For those that need it, transport via golf carts are available.

Pacific Bay Resort is open from June 1st to February 28th, this decision has been made to preserve the integrity of this beautiful piece of land and habitat of animals that share it with us. We have a capacity of 16 guests in four cottages. Each cottage has two rooms with a queen, and full bed, private bathroom with shower, fan, private porch with lounge chairs and spectacular views.

Pacific Bay Resort is home to three beaches, each offering its own individual elegance and flair. You can experience all of the flavor and diversity of the region without ever having to leave the resort! Upon arriving at the resort, your boat will dock on our North Beach. At any given time of day, one of the three beaches will suit your needs.
Kayaks and a stand up paddleboard are available for free.

The most accessible of the three beaches is North Beach, home to light sands, calm waters and an incredible view.

Take an exploratory walk through the resort and you will find our South Beach. The South Beach is more secluded and offers a quieter haven for your relaxation desires.

Pacific Bay Resort is committed to practicing sound environmental activities at all times. In all of our 140 acres only 10 acres will be developed. The remaining 130 acres will be left to the wildlife, untouched. We have been extremely careful throughout the course of our development. Pacific Bay Resort is the perfect getaway for the environmentally conscious traveler.

By educating ourselves, we work to preserve, protect and coexist with the beautiful and functional Panamanian landscape. While the forestry protects huge exotic bird populations, the indigenous flora and fauna remain in their natural states. We’ve complimented this with a broad selection of fruit crops from the region. The result is a setting that is natural, comfortable and elegant all at once.

Pacific Bay Resort is only accessible by boat. For guests arriving by car, you may park in Boca Chica at several marked parking locations. It is best to arrive in the early morning.

From Boca Chica to Pacific Bay:
You will need to arrange water transport from Boca Chica to Pacific Bay Resort in advance. We recommend Alonso Rios (507) 6569-9066. The current rate (March ‘24) for a one way trip for up to three people is $35. Each additional person is $5.

By air:
Daily flights from Panama City to David are offered by Air Panama (domestic) and Copa (international).
From David to Boca Chica is about an hour by car for transport from David to Boca Chica we recommend Miss Toby Braxton. You can reach her at: servicestoby25@gmail.com

By Car:
Driving Distance from Panama City to Boca Chica is 450 kilometers (5 - 6 hours) to the Horconcitos Crossing. David to the Horconcitos crossing is 35 kilometers.
After arriving at the crossing drive 22 kilometers to the village of Boca Chica.
